Provide high quality
cardiovascular ultrasound imaging/hemodynamic and cardiometabolic
procedures, which adhere to the established protocols of the given
clinical research project.
Integrate other center's
physiological/cardiometabolic resources into the core lab to supporting a
broader base of investigators.
Expand the capabilities of the
core lab for analysis and management of cardiovascular ultrasound imaging
and cardiometabolic/hemodynamic studies and data from designated remote
clinical sites, with the core lab serving as the coordinating center.
Provide
students with learning opportunities through direct participation in the
core lab's clinical research and its translational core services.
